Q&A from race

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, here's the meme:

Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile."
I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity
Update your journal with the answers to the questions
Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people question
s.

1. Marry, shag, throw off a cliff: Catherine Willows, Lady Heather, Sofia Curtis (yes i play dirty):
    Dirty? That's just plain evil!

Marry: Sofia, she just seems the most stable out of the 3, with the least baggage, and least drama. She's loyal, smart, and I could watch that swagger of hers all day.   Shag: That would be Lady Heather. C'mon she was a dominatrix! Nuff said!    Throw off a cliff:  Catherine. This was more a process of elimination, as opposed to me hating her. Though there are times  when the writers have her do something out of character just for the sake of a plotline that makes me want to strangle someone.

2. If you could change one single aspect of your life, what would it be and why?  Financial aspect. I owe a lot of money because of school loans, and it just weighs down on me everyday. I think if I hadn't done what was expected of me and had taken my time, I'd have one less job and a lot less stress to contend with.

3. Stupidest customer experience :p  Hmmm, I would have to say it was when I was in the express lane (10 items or less) and a customer came up to register and told me because she bought 10 of one product, it counts as 1 item.  She also had a bunch of other stuff as well. In total she had 21 items, but in her mind she had 11.  I was completely speechless when she told me this. Because by her logic if someone were to come through with 100 items it would be okay so long as they bought in increments of 10.  And she's not the 1st one to do this either.

4. What does true love mean to you?
  Contentment. Patience. Acceptance.

5. How did you get into "fandom"?
Serrendipitously. My 1st fandom (points to icon) was an anime Tenchi Muyo, there were 3 seperate, distinct series to it which I was unaware of, so I ended up looking it up the internet. It was then that I discovered fansites and fanfiction and everything else that goes along with being in a fandom.  It wasn't 'til years later when I got into csi that I got up the courage to particapate.

People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.

I'm not tagging. Do if you want!

Interests Meme

[info]racethewind10    picked out 7 of my interests, and here they are.

Ancient Greek
,  I actually took ancient Greek (yes the the language) in college some years ago. I really enjoy the plays and literature of the time. Especially Homer.  I have at least 2 different translations of both his poems. AT LEAST.  It really does brake my heart to think that there are so many lost plays out there.

Catherine Willows,  There's just something about the way she talks, her attitude, the way she carries herself that drew my attention to her right away. To me Catherine IS CSI:LV. Without her it would be just another crime drama with better special effects.

Elizabethian history,  I started out with Queen Elizabeth herself, but over the years my interests has broaden to include her family and social environment as well. But my primary interest has and always will be in the virgin queen.  I have read at least a dozen books on her (including historical fantasy and mystery). Not to mention movies.  I'm not obsessed. . . .much.

Lady Heather,  I could listen to her read the phone book. I love, love her voice. She reminds me of Circe, the witch who turned men into pigs.

Louise Lombard, Talent going to waste in my opinion . Love that British accent. She really is an excellent actress, with facial expressions that really convey emotions without words. I adore watching her interviews (the couple I've seen), she's just too cute.

Manga, In case your wondering, manga is Japanese comics. I've been reading them for at least a decade, give or take. I enjoy that there really is something for everyone. And that it's not all superheroes directed at males 17-30 (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Roman History,  What can I say? I like reading about the scandalous roman emperors. *bg* Seriously, I enjoy reading about the roman empire and how it came about and how it fell.

5 Things that make me happy...........

I stole this from Race, and if someone wants to steal it from me, go ahead.

I no particular order:

5. My cat. Shadow is the sweetest little fellow anyone could ever hope to have for a pet.

4. Paper crafts. I'm still an amatuer, but I enjoy them very much.

3. Writing fanfiction. When my muse is actually co-operating, I get a real rush seeing words flow from my brain onto paper.

2. Reading. I own few hundred books, and I try to read an hour a day. I really enjoy quietly sitting and immersing myself in another world.

1. Internet. I probably spend too much time on it, but I met wonderful people and made friends.
